Obodo Nomination
The barter buy and sell marketplace, Obodo, was nominated and shortlisted by Entrepreneur Tech Innovation Awards 2022 for “The most innovative tech solution of the year” and covered by Entrepreneur.com, with an average monthly traffic of over 12 million unique visitors and a yearly traffic of 100 million unique visitors.
While we did not win this year, we hope to be successful next year. Meanwhile, we want to congratulate the winners GoDaddy, Talabat, OSN+, and the rest of the winners and thank all of the Obodo users for their support.
This is a huge accomplishment and we are proud to be recognized amongst some of the top tech companies in the world. We have big plans for the future and we would be thrilled to have you along.
Entrepreneur Middle East 2022 Winners
An Entrepreneur Middle East event celebrating the MENA region’s tech ecosystem was held at the Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk on November 14, 2022.
In partnership with du and Fluidmeet, Kapturise, and Tech Venue, the event, a production by BNC Publishing, the media house behind Entrepreneur Middle East, recognized individuals and companies making waves in the region’s technology industry.
The gathering featured an impromptu address from one of the region’s most renowned entrepreneurs, Jabbar Internet Group Chairman and CEO Samih Toukan, one of the region’s best-known entrepreneurs.
As well as founding Maktoob.com, which was acquired by Yahoo in 2009, Toukan co-founded Souq.com, which was acquired by Amazon in 2017.
After the awards were presented, Saeed Al-Nofeli, Director of in5, Wissam Younane, CEO of BNC Publishing, and Rabih Najm, Managing Director of BNC Publishing, congratulated the winners.
